CENTRAL UK BASE
Sports Classics UK is based in Sheffield with our new workshop facilities at our new workshop near Chesterfield. We are specialist classic Jaguar restorers with huge experience over many years. We purchased the assets of Watjag in 2015.
To further our knowledge and experience within classic Jaguar. The existing location at Gt Longstone has now been closed and all the staff have now moved to our new workshops.
From our new location we offer full restoration facilities for most classic marques but specialise in Jaguar and Austin Healey, everything is done in house from media blasting chassis, full metal shop and paint, full mechanicals and upgrades, engine building to final trim, fit up and presentation.
EUROPE'S #1 E-TYPE SUPPLIER
E type Jaguars are our main business, along with XK’s and Austin Healeys. WE NOW SUPPLY MORE E TYPES than anyone in Europe. The cars we supply range from project cars to concourse restorations with everything else in between. Our client base is worldwide and includes not just private clients but also large restoration companies including clients requiring donor cars for Heritage Racing.
IMPORTING CLASSICS
We have grown to be the largest importer of classic European sports cars from the USA and Canada over the last five years. Having spent considerable time in the USA, a broad network of “Finders” has been developed with 95% of our cars never being offered on open sale. Thus, cutting out the middlemen and ensuring our cars are accurately described and offered for sale at realistic prices. Many cars sell before they even depart from port. We have a large but quick moving stock of cars spread between three locations. Viewings and inspections along with video call/chat can be arranged promptly to suit any customer requirements.
WORLDWIDE SHIPPING & WORLD CLASS SERVICE
We can ship our cars worldwide and indeed we are also able to offer a shipping and sourcing package for those clients who have found cars in the USA or Canada but need assistance in the process of getting them to the UK.
Our business is modelled on low overheads, no fancy showrooms, no men in suits just simply getting the best product and price to our valuable and growing client list.
Investment consultancy and valuation services
I am available to all clients for investment advice and help with establishing a collection portfolio. I am also able to assist with portfolio and insurance valuations.
My rate for this assistance is £275.00 per hour plus agreed travelling expenses.
