Jaguar Roadster

This lovely 1.5 E Type is available as an easy running driving project. It is here in the UK. It would take very little to mot and have her on the road straight away. We are in the process of evaluating the car, however it is very solid and very original. The body is very good and no signs of accidents. Metal work is minimal as there is little rust. The main problem areas are:

One door bottom needs replacing
Front floor pans look to be solid and original but they are dented, probably from jacking in the wrong place
Seals have been replaced at some point but not correctly finished
We believe the mileage to be correct but we have no proof, however the car seems to have been in the last ownership for 40 years.

We intend to do the car as a demonstrator for our WatJag business but if you are quick you can buy her as she is and take her away. Price is fixed at £59,000. Please no offers.

Our plan will be to start work on the following:

5 Speed Gear Box
Triple Carbs
New interior and hood ( Navy Blue) converted to RHD
New tires and maybe new wheels although they appear to be in very good condition
Repaint in the same colour
This will make a stunning E Type with the best of upgrades and driving pleasure.
