This car was recently imported by us. All paperwork has been completed and a V5 registration applied for. We checked the car fully on arrival and had to change one light bulb before presenting the car for MOT. The car passed with no advisories.The car was driven back from the port and has been used for commuting from Grantham to Sheffield for a few days (130 mile round trip).

If you are checking the car out I am sure you know exactly what you are looking for, and although easy to wax lyrical abot the car, the facts speak for themselves.

The paint is very good, interior has a little patina but still exceptionally good and very presentable. The car has Michelin tyres all round with plenty of wear left and the wheels are in excellent condition.
The soft top is virtually new and the matching hard top is in very good condition.

The engine runs very well and is very smooth, absolutely no issues. The transmission was changed at 87k miles by MB in New York and therefore is strong, smooth and with no problems. the car drives beautifully with no rattles, squeeks or noises whatsoever.There is a period correct radio/tape player and the climate control works well delivering very cold air on its coolest setting.

We have history on the car detailing work carried out back to 1993. Most of this was done by Mercedes Benz. The vehicle spent most of its time in New York and Florida.The underside of the car is very clean and shows it has been well maintained, with recent work to steering and suspension. There is no rust and all floor pans are solid and clean. The current mileage is 117k miles.

A very clean, honest and useable classic which is now starting to appreciate.
