This car has been one family owned from new and has never before been advertised for sale. The car has covered 84795 miles from new and is fully documented in a huge history file which includes the original purchase invoice and manuals. This car is quite simply unique today. From our inspections it is original and 99% complete. It has a set of fitted luggage which will require restoration. The car is DB608 (Ivory) with the original red interior and we believe it was originally a black roof. This car was not specified with a hard top from factory and does not have one, good used original ones are available still. The car was last on the road with its mot from 1997 and has been in a dry storage facility since. The radiator and original Solex carburettors have been reconditioned. Because of the time standing, we are embarking on some recommissioning work. (fuel tank, lines and brakes) and may well put her back on the road exactly as she is. We have had the engine running from a remote fuel supply and incredibly she started first time with no smoke and idled perfectly.
The body of the car is incredibly solid with little to no panel work required. There has been minor repair work to one of the rear wings in the past. This is documented in the history file. The floor pans and underside areas are generally and remarkably solid with little remedial work being required. Truly a one off!
